About the Work
A travelogue by Dale Evans Rogers detailing a journey she took across Europe and Israel. Her trip began in Holland then continued into Germany. While in Germany she recounted memories of WWII and reflections on Martin Luther. In an interesting aside and by mere accident she spent a night in Hitler’s former suite at the Berchtesgaden before trekking across the rest of Germany.
The rest of the book follows her throughout Rome, Athens and then Egypt before she entered the Holy Land. The book contains stories of her life and faith as she weaved them through her travels. At the end of the book she provided readers with her own personal statement of faith (her philosophy of life and living) in a format similar to a catechism.

“…He has led me in Galilee and Judea and New York and California and everywhere I go….I have come home from Palestine with the dust of His glory road on my feet and in my soul, and I find the light of His countenance going before me on the common roads of home as I found it leading me there, and it lightens my journey…and gives me peace….” -Dale Evans Rogers, from the back cover of Where He Leads
