The Greater Heritage is not affiliated with a specific Christian denomination however we are a community committed to the beliefs and doctrines of conservative evangelical Christianity within the Protestant tradition and hold to the core truths of scripture as outlined in our Basic Statement of Faith.

Intellectual Rigor: Developing in our readers an appreciation of the works of His people in art, literature, and music so they may build well-rounded character.
To carry out its mission The Greater Heritage publishes original articles, books, Bible studies and church resources. The organization also hosts a museum that promotes great works of art, music and literature by Christians throughout history and a weekly podcast featuring Bible studies and Christian book reviews. Biography
J.R. is Founder of The Greater Heritage and host of The Greater Heritage Podcast. He became a Christian at The Wilds Christian camp at age 13.
A self-described “Renaissance Man,” J.R. is passionate about books, theology, history, nonprofits and fundraising. He has raised over $1.2M for various nonprofits as a professional fundraiser. His greatest passion however is communicating God’s Word through writing, and enabling individuals to find freedom through Jesus Christ.
He has authored 5 books, has been featured in FrontLine Magazine, a publication of Foundations Baptist Fellowship International, has appeared in the West Volusia Beacon and on WSBB 106.9 Radio’s Morning Show and has served as a board member for The Adult Literacy League.
